This job still remains one of the most challenging for Great Northern to this day. Being in the the prominent neighborhood of Linden Hills, this home deserved more than a shabby 80s kitchen and dungeon like unfinished basement. Hours of engineering took place to move or manipulate almost every wall in the home. A Open floor plan was conceived for the once cut off kitchen and dining to make the space flow. New Craftsman style elements were added to the home to make it feel like it was this way from inception. The unfinished basement was carefully planned to make way for an full legal bedroom with a sitting area, office and a 3/4 bath. Ne Marvin windows and a roof were also installed to bring the home up to date. All new electrical, HVAC and plumbing were added to the entire home to ensure efficiency and another generation will enjoy this home for years to come. This home was featured in the 2017 fall Remodelers Showcase
